Form Sculpture Exhibition:
Fibonacci Flowers

06/06/2015 - 28/06/2015

'Fibonacci Flowers' are an installation of porcelain and stoneware clays, delicately scattered against the red brick interior walls of Bangors' Walled Garden.

Each structure is hand made using the fibonacci code found in all natural growth. It is even found in the structures of our own DNA strands.

The flowers were made in response to the theme 'secret garden' and my thoughts were drawn to the secret mathematical codes found in nature which is at the centre of my own work and adapted to suit the stunning setting. The 'Hydranga' flower was of particular inspiration.

The exhibition was opened to the public by the Mayor of Bangor and organiser Sharon Regan.
